Ingredients to make Wheat and Rice flour bondas

  • wheat flour 200 gms
  • Rice flour 100 gms
  • onion 2-3
  • Spring onion 3-4 twigs
  • coriander leaves
  • curry leaves
  • green chillies 2
  • red chilly powder according to taste
  • coriander seeds/dhaniya 1 tbsp( coarsely grinded)
  • asafoetida(hing) 1 pinch
  • salt as per taste
  • cooking soda 1/2 Tsp
  • water as needed
  • oil for frying

How to make Wheat and Rice flour bondas

  1. Mix all the above ingredients except oil to make a batter, don't make the batter very thin.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,when oil is hot drop little balls in it, fry properly from both sides, until it gets golden brown colour.
  3. Serve this hot,crispy,tasty bondas with spicy chutney or tomato ketchup.

You can more vegetables like spinach, methi,etc..
