Ingredients to make Banana Aratikayi Pulusu

  • Steamed banana pieces 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 1 cup
  • Chopped green chillies 2 teaspoons
  • spinach leaves 5 teaspoons
  • tamarind juice 1/4 cup
  • jaggery per taste
  • salt per taste
  • red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • oil 2 teaspoons
  • Fried methi seeds and jeera powder 1 teaspoon
  • red chillies 3
  • hing powder 1 teaspoon
  • cornflour 1 teaspoon
  • water 4 cups

How to make Banana Aratikayi Pulusu

  1. First take a pan and add oil fry spinach leaves,next add onions, green chillies and let them fry, add water.
  2. Add steamed banana pieces, jaggery, salt, tamarind juice and red chilli powder and let it boil for some time.
  3. Add jeera and methi powder, then add cornflour water to it. Until it gets thick.
  4. Finally temper with red chillies, hing powder and serve.

My Tip:

Cornflour powder should be mixed with water, don't use directly.
