These falahari kababs are absolutely mouth melting made with the goodness of dahi and makhaane /lotus seed . Its a very good healthy snacking recipe that can enjoyed both during fasting and feasting.

Ingredients to make Falahari Dahi k Kababs

  • Hung curd 250 grams
  • Crushed Makhaane 200 grams
  • Kuttu ka aata 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Fresh mint 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped coriander 1 tablespoon
  • Roasted jeera powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 2 pinches
  • Chopped green chillies 1/4 teaspoon
  • sendha namak as per your taste
  • oil for shallow frying / Grilling

How to make Falahari Dahi k Kababs

  1. Take Fresh curd and put it in a strainer or muslin cloth and leave it for around 1 hour till all water is drained out.
  2. Take hung curd and add finely crushed makhaane, kuttu ka aata chopped ginger, mint , chillies & coriander,
  3. Season it with sendha namak, jeera powder , pepper powder .
  4. Mix everything together and make a mixture that is easy to roll into kababs shape. If its wet add more makhaane. Make kababs from this mixture.
  5. Put some oil on a non stick tava and shallow fry these kababs from both sides and serve them hot with your choice of chutney.

My Tip:

If your mixture is wet add more crushed makhaane .make one tikki shallow fry it, if its cracking, add more makhaane.
